Qualcomm promised to release updates for Snapdragon 8 Elite for 8 years

Insider Mishaal Rahman said after the Snapdragon Summit technology event that the manufacturer of the Snapdragon 8 Elite flagship chipset, Qualcomm, will support the product for eight years.

Rahman noted that users should expect another seven years of support, taking into account this year. The insider cited Qualcomm's senior vice president and general manager of phones, Chris Patrick, who promised long-term support for the Snapdragon 8 Elite. The manager promised seamless software integration of the chipset with eight versions of Android.
