This was reported by the Graty media correspondent from the Lviv pre-trial detention center No. 19.

On October 2, the Galician District Court of Lviv arrested Stakhiv for two months.

On November 28, the court continued the arrest of the blogger, but allowed him to be released on bail of UAH 908,000. Supporters of Stakhiv immediately announced a fundraiser, they collected the required amount in less than a week.

REFERENCE

Ostap Stakhiv – native of Lviv region. Since the beginning of the pandemic, he has been spreading fake messages on social networks that the coronavirus does not exist. He also claimed that the state was mindlessly spending money on vaccination, and organized actions against it.

Before the pandemic, Stakhiv also participated in various street protests. In particular, he declared the fight against illegal constructions in Lviv. However, in 2018, at one of the actions, the man was thrown into the trash and called a pseudo-activist.

Stakhiv tried to get into power several times. In 2007, he wanted to enter the parliament on the “Svobody” list, but he was excluded from the list because he did not indicate his place of work.

Since 2013, Stakhiv repeatedly ran for the Verkhovna Rada as a self-nominated candidate, but did not make it to the parliament. He also tried to become the mayor of Lviv and Vinniki, but again without results.
