Producers of child porn detained in Vinnytsia region

In Vinnytsia region, law enforcement officers detained a group of criminals who produced and sold pornography, including child pornography.

The man, who is a suspect in the case, is being held in custody, the women were left under house arrest by the court. Currently, the investigation has documented the involvement of the defendants in 56 facts, as part of an organized group – 12.

As reported by the Vinnytsia regional police communications department and the press service of the Vinnytsia regional prosecutor's office, there is a reasonable suspicion that three members of an organized group from October 2023 to April 2024 produced pornographic material involving minors, as well as stored it. In addition, they repeatedly sold pornographic content, for which the suspects received more than UAH 3.6 million from its sale into their bank accounts. They distributed illegal content through messengers, for which they received up to UAH 2,000 for one video clip.

Ultimately, their criminal activity was stopped by law enforcement officers.

The investigation established that the organized criminal «business» A 23-year-old woman, involving two acquaintances. In June, law enforcement officers exposed and detained a man and a woman, as well as a girl who helped them sell prohibited photos and videos.

Police investigators informed all three of suspicions of manufacturing and storing for the purpose of distribution, sale of video production of a pornographic nature, child pornography, as well as recruitment for the purpose of exploitation in the pornographic business of minors, committed repeatedly, by an organized group (parts 2, 3 of article 301; parts 3, 4 of article 301-1; part 2 of article 149; part 3 of article 27, part 3 of article 28, part 3 of article 301-1; part 3 of article 27, part 3 of article 28, part 3 of article 301-1; part 3 of article 27, part 3 of article 28, part 3 of article 301 of the Criminal Code Ukraine).

During searches conducted on the basis of court orders, mobile devices and bank cards were discovered and seized.

The members of the group face a sentence of imprisonment for a term of nine to fifteen years.
