Pro-Russian media activist from Kherson region Olga Teterya received a sentence from a Ukrainian court

Olga Teterya, a resident of the village of Bohdanivka, Zelenopidsk rural community, Kakhovka district, Kherson region, was found guilty of carrying out information activities in cooperation with the aggressor state.

This is reported by the Center for Journalistic Investigations.

The woman voluntarily works for the enemy on the occupation TV channel «Tavria». For the crime committed on December 16, the Kherson City Court sentenced her in absentia – 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property and deprivation of the right to hold positions in government bodies for 15 years.

Teterya entered the media school of the Russian curator Alexander Malkevich, completed her studies there and began working as a correspondent for the propaganda TV channel «Tavria» on the TOT of the Kherson region.

According to one of the witnesses, he studied with Olga Teterya at the same school in Bohdanivka.

«Teterya maintained friendly relations with the Russian military, communicated with them, and repeatedly rode a bicycle to their positions during the summer of 2022. In the fall of 2022, she came to Kherson to study and became a correspondent for the Russian channel «Tavriya», she said that there would be no Ukraine here, but Russia», – the words of the witness are quoted in the court verdict.
