Prime Video: after Loft Story, Amazon will put this famous boy band in the spotlight

Prime Video offers hit series like The Boys and The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power and also comedy programs such as LOL: Who laughs, comes out! whose season 5 very recently revealed its cast. Today, Amazon's streaming platform has announced that a series will soon be released and will be dedicated to a cult boy band. It will certainly revive a lot of nostalgia for some people. 

Prime Video unveils the new features in its catalog

There's no denying that Prime Video knows how to fill its catalog with content. Amazon's streaming platform presented its made-in-France production projects to the press on Wednesday, September 25. And unsurprisingly, Prime Video has revealed the cast of the next season of its comedy show LOL: who laughs, comes out! presented by Phillipe Lacheau with, among others, Artus and Vincent Dedienne.

On the cinema side, Prime Video will offer in the second half of 2025, McWalter, an action comedy starring Mister V alongside Géraldine Nakache, Vincent Dedienne and François Berléand. An adaptation of the American romantic comedy Palm Springs will be directed by Patrick Cassir and starred by Tarek Boudali and Camille Rowe. Finally, Carjackers will feature car thieves starring Zoé Marchal and Franck Gastambide.

After Loft Story, a boy band in the spotlight

And for those nostalgic for the 1990s and fans of boy bands, there will be something for you too. Indeed, the Amazon platform announced a few months ago an original series retracing the TV phenomenon of the 2000s: Loft Story. The series entitled Cult will be released on October 18 and will be an opportunity to discover the behind the scenes of this reality TV programprecursor in France and to follow the destiny of its winner Loana.

While Cult was supposed to be a unique series, Thomas Dubois, director of original content at Prime Video, explained that the series would become a “collection” for “to highlight ordinary people who have experienced sudden fame and shaped today's society“. Thus, a season 2 has been announced and will put the spotlight on a cult French boy band: 2Be3.

This group composed of Filip Nikolic, Frank Delay and Adel Kachemi was formed in 1996. We owe them flagship titles like Partir un jour or Toujours là pour moi. Antoine Simony (Eté 85), Marin Judas (Mise à agrave; nu) and Namory Bakayoko > will play the singers.
