The Polish sports channel TVP Sport suffered a cyber attack on Sunday, June 16, due to which viewers were unable to watch the first half of the national team's match at Euro 2024 against the Netherlands.

TVP Sport Director Jakub Kwiatkowski reported on media platform X that it was a denial of service attack. (DDoS) carried out from IP addresses localized in Poland. It is still unknown who exactly is behind the cyber attack, reports Wyborcza.pl.

As a result of the attack, visitors could not access the entire TVP Sport website.

At the beginning of the second half of the match, access to The website has been restored.

In their first match at Euro 2024, the Netherlands defeated Poland with a score of 2:1.

On Friday, June 21, the Netherlands will meet tournament favorites – France, and Poland – with Austria.
