Poland and Greece sent a letter to the European Commission calling for the creation of a global European anti-aircraft defense system, reports Reuters.

They respect that the European countries may face competition for the development of air defense systems and start new activities, including further investments in the defense industry.

– I have submitted a document to the European Commission together with Prime Minister (Greece) Mitsotakis for a sound European defense policy. The reaction of the European Commission is already very positive in order to build missile defense for the military bases for Europe, because this is a huge sum of pennies… We are preparing for war not for the fact that this war will happen, but for she didn’t, – < /em>revealed by Tusk.

President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen also reacted to the sheet.

– We need less fragmentation and smaller projects. Like, for example, a shield of anti-war defense, created by Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Donald Tusk, she wrote on Twitter.
