Earlier today, we revealed that the Switch 2 codename had leaked, confirming rumors that had been circulating about it for some time. But it's not just Nintendo's next console that has been victim of these leaks, since the leak in question comes from Game Freak, which means that we were also able to have information on the next games in the Pokémon franchise.
While many fans are eagerly awaiting the next Pokémon game, titled Pokémon Legends: Z-A and scheduled for worldwide release in 2025, others are already looking ahead to the future of the franchise, and in particular to the upcoming 10th generation.

Indeed, we have learned that Game Freak has been the victim of a massive hack leading to a data leak. Among the stolen information, we find in particular the code name of an unannounced 10th generation Pokémon game as well as that of Pokémon Legends: Z-A, respectively named “Gaia” and “Ikkaku”.
But that's not all, because we also learned that another Pokémon game known under the code name “Synapse” was in development. As Comicbook explains, it would be a new MMO “focused on combat” and produced in collaboration with Game Freak and ILCA. Some sources describe the project as a game similar to Splatoon, but we don't know yet how this new game is related to the famous title developed by Nintendo.
