Passenger filmed the situation on the plane during the emergency landing

A striking video has appeared from the cabin of a Quantas airline plane that made an emergency landing in Brisbane, Australia due to a technical malfunction.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine (Styler project) with reference to the 4BC Brisbane publication, which shared these footage on social networks.

It is known that on Tuesday morning, On December 10, an Embraer E190 took off for Adelaide, but was forced to return to the airport about 40 minutes after takeoff due to reports of problems with the landing gear brakes.

One passenger told reporters that the captain of the aircraft announced over the loudspeaker that it was necessary to prepare for a hard landing.

Footage taken in the cabin shows that during landing, flight attendants ordered passengers to lean over and lower their heads.

“Stay down, heads down,” the flight attendant kept saying.

Fortunately, the landing was successful and no one was injured.

“It was a miracle that we landed without damage. “The whole plane was filled with applause and shouts of joy. The crew did a great job, and the captain shook everyone's hand as we got off the plane,” said an eyewitness.

What not to do during an emergency landing of a plane

During an emergency landing, every second counts, so it's important to know how to act correctly. Here are 5 things from the European Aviation Safety Agency website that you absolutely must not do in such a situation.

Stay seated. During turbulence or an emergency landing, the safest place to be is in your seat with your seatbelt fastened. Getting up can cause injury to yourself and other passengers.

Do not open the overhead bin. Opening the overhead bin during turbulence can cause heavy objects to fall on you.

Do not attempt to exit the aircraft to the crew. The aircraft crew is trained to act in extreme situations and knows how to organize an evacuation in the safest way. Your attempt to leave the plane on your own may prevent the evacuation of other passengers.

Do not use a mobile phone. During an emergency landing, using a mobile phone may interfere with the crew's communication with the control center.

Do not panic. Panic is the worst advisor in extreme situations. Try to calm down, follow all the instructions of the crew and follow the safety rules.

What to do during an emergency landing of an airplane

Fasten your seat belt. This is the most important safety rule during a flight!

Listen carefully to the crew's commands. The crew of the airplane is professionals who know how to act in extreme situations. Follow all their instructions.

Take the fetal position. Press your head to your knees and hold it with your hands. This will help protect your head and neck from blows.

And remember: knowing the rules of behavior in extreme situations can save your life. Therefore, before flying, read the safety instructions, which are usually located in the pocket of the seat in front of you.
