OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced the completion of the development of a new language model of artificial intelligence o3-mini, which is planned to be launched in the coming weeks.

OpenAI says it is preparing to release the o3-mini by the end of January, and the more powerful o3 model — a little later.

It is expected that the capabilities of these models will surpass all previous versions of neural networks.

In addition, OpenAI has introduced a beta version of the new ChatGPT Scheduled Tasks feature, which helps you set reminders and schedule certain tasks.

This update is aimed at making ChatGPT more functional and bringing it closer to popular virtual assistants such as Google Assistant or Siri.

With this feature, you can configure settings to receive the weather forecast daily at a certain time, set a reminder for the expiration of your passport, or even order a bedtime story for children.

In addition, the company is working on new developments, including an autonomous agent called Operator, which will be able to control computers, and the Caterpillar project, which integrates with Tasks for information search, data analysis, site navigation, and document work.
