OnePlus Pad 2 is scheduled to be released in the second half of this year

OnePlus Pad debuted on the world market in February last year. Last October, the brand introduced the budget OnePlus Pad Go for the Indian market. OnePlus seems to be working on the Pad 2 as we were already supposed to get the Pad successor. The launch schedule for the upcoming offering is now being clarified. 

OnePlus Pad 2 is expected to arrive in the second half of the year

Advisor Max Jambor on X (formerly Twitter) reports that the OnePlus Pad 2 will be released in the second half of 2024. However, he does not mention any details about the tablet. To recall, the first-generation OnePlus Pad was launched in China as the OPPO Pad 2 a month after the former's global debut. It remains to be seen whether the same could be the case with the OnePlus Pad 2.

Recently, we have heard rumors about the OPPO Pad 3. Digital Chat Station's reliable informant has revealed that the tablet will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 8 Gen 3. If indeed this turns out to be true, it will be a significant upgrade over its predecessor, which packs the Dimensity 9000 SoC. The same whistleblower also said last month that the OPPO Pad 3 could arrive in the second quarter of this year, which is between April and June. 

We will have to wait to see if the OnePlus Pad 2 debuts or OPPO Pad 3 first. As both are expected to be similar, with the former available globally and the latter – only in the domestic market.
