One Piece Season 2: Netflix Series Should Show This Non-Canon Location

In just one season, One Piece has become one of Netflix's biggest hits. This live-action adaptation of the adventures of Luffy and his crew will soon return for new episodes, probably in 2025. While no official images have yet been revealed by the streaming platform, a behind-the-scenes look at the series suggests the appearance of this arc.

Netflix Geeked Week, which ran from September 16 to 19, allowed One Piece fans to learn a little more about the live-action sequel to the series. The live-action adaptation of the streaming platform will return next year for new episodes, in which we will see the Straw Hats and their crew cross paths with Nico Robin and Crocodile, whose actors can be discovered here. In a recent behind-the-scenes video shared on the site's official social networks, a fan with an eagle eye spotted a location from a filer arc, that is which is part of the anime, but which does not appear in Eiichiro Oda's manga.

As a reminder, some original stories were created for the anime to fill the gap between new chapters of One Piece. Called filler arcs, these new characters and locations, which do not appear in the original manga, are common (Dragon Ball, Demon Slayer, Naruto, Bleach also use them). Appearing in episode 576, Luffy: Adventure on Hand Island, this Non-Canon island could therefore also be featured in the live-action series, if we believe his presence behind the scenes! Knowing that Eiichiro Oda has confirmed that the Netflix series will go through Drum Island, Logue Town, Little Garden and Whiskey Peak, we wonder when Luffy and his friends will have time to go through Hand Island…
