The owner, named John, claims that people can travel back to 1956 aboard the DC-6 cargo plane, which has been delivering goods for about 50 years. and fuel to remote Alaskan villages.

There is a plane on a private airstrip in the city of Wasilla and it constantly looks like it is ready for takeoff. Inside, however, there is a certain dissonance, because there is a spacious dining room, a kitchen, a cozy living room, several bedrooms, a bathroom and even an exit to the cockpit.

The surprises do not end there, because from the deck built on one of the wings of the plane, a stunning view opens — the perfect place for a barbecue. The owner of the unusual house, John, shows all this on his page in the social network TikTok.

“The inspiration for building this house was the fact that the lumber was insanely expensive to build an ordinary house, and half of the house is already built, if in you have an airplane”, — said John.

During the renovation, the owner immediately decided that despite the unique view from the street, there should be a real home atmosphere inside to make it cozy. Every corner, except the cockpit, has been redone on board.

The house is rented out to travelers, but the cost of living is a bit pricey. For a night on the plane, they ask from 300 to 700 dollars (12-29 thousand hryvnias, — ed.), everything depends on the season.
