Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk gave up the IBF belt, leaving it vacant for the fight between Britons Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois.

The Ukrainian boxer announced this on his page in Instahram.

The fight between Joshua and Dubois is scheduled for September 21, 2024. Usyk said in the video that the IBF belt is a “gift” for their fight, so now Joshua and Dubois will be able to fight for the IBF title at Wembley Stadium.

Hello everyone! Anthony and Daniel, listen, I know the IBF belt is important to you. Let's call it my September 21st gift. Thank God for everything. Glory to Ukraine! – Usyk said.

After September's Wembley, everyone will be waiting for Usyk's rematch with the British Tyson Fury, where other belts will be played. And then, quite likely, the winner of the rematch will fight for the IBF belt with the winner of the Dubois-Joshua fight.

Briton Tyson Fury does not care that his rematch with Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk will lose the status of a fight for the title of absolute world champion in super heavyweight.

Tyson is not very concerned about this. He's been having a great time with his kids for the past couple of weeks. He just wants to leave boxing aside for now, said Spencer Brown, the manager of the heavyweight from Great Britain.

The manager noted that the main incentive for Fury is the rematch with Usyk itself.

We lose after the first half 0:1. There is still a second half. Let someone else step up and become the world champion. Tyson is not concerned about this, – emphasized Brown.
