Not just charging batteries: the “world's smartest” charger has been created

Ostation X technology combines a charger, battery tester and organizer that holds more than 32 AA/AAA batteries.

Olight unveiled the Ostation X 3-in-1 Smart Battery Charger at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, which won the CES 2025 Innovation Award in the Sustainability & Energy/Power category. The Batteries News portal writes about this.

Olight's goal is reportedly to create a product that encourages the use of rechargeable batteries by making them more convenient, reliable, and easy to use.

“The Ostation X Battery Charger — the world's first and smartest 3-in-1 battery charger, designed to revolutionize battery charging. This innovative device combines a charger, tester, and organizer,” — says the official CES 2025 portal.

The Ostation X intelligent detection and sorting module charges only compatible and healthy batteries, regardless of the (+)/(-) end orientation, while rejecting incompatible or defective ones.

With a spacious storage compartment, the Ostation X can hold over 32 AA/AAA batteries, and Bluetooth connectivity allows users to monitor charging progress, manage battery reserves, and select modes via the app.

“The Ostation X represents a significant leap in technology and sustainability. It's not just about convenience — it's about empowering our customers to make choices that are better for the planet and future generations,” — said Olight Vice President and Marketing Director Mavis Xiao.
