Norway plans to simplify employment for some drivers from Ukraine

From July 1, they will start working in Norway new rules for the employment of Ukrainian refugees who get a job as a bus driver.

As NTB reports, at the initiative of the Norwegian government, the rules for Ukrainians who decide to work as drivers will be significantly simplified.

Thanks According to changes made to the law on professional transport, citizens of Ukraine will be able to obtain a bus driver's license if they provide a certificate from the police of their country.

In addition, officials have abolished the mandatory four-year residence requirement in this country, which is no longer was valid for EU citizens.

As noted by the Norwegian Ministry of Labor and Social Inclusion, the corresponding changes are designed to help more Ukrainians find work.

"This is what we dependent in the future, when we know that many employers are looking for qualified workers,” the department emphasized.

It is known that the rules have been simplified for Ukrainian drivers due to a shortage of workers in this area.< /p>

Earlier, the Norwegian government announced the development of online courses for learning the Norwegian language in order to facilitate the integration of Ukrainians and other foreigners.

Currently, about 70 thousand Ukrainian citizens have temporary protection status in Norway.
