An important New Year's meeting with the Heads of Diplomatic Missions accredited in the Republic of Poland took place at the Presidential Palace.

The ceremony gathered a large group of important personalities, but it was Agata Duda, the first lady, who attracted special attention from the media and guests.

During his speech, President Andrzej Duda thanked the audience for the cooperation so far, emphasizing the importance of international partnership. – “I would like to sincerely thank all our friends, allies and partners for the fruitful cooperation and for everything we have managed to achieve together,” said the president, referring to the challenges facing Poland and the world.

The meeting was aimed not only at summarizing the past year, but also at strengthening diplomatic relations and building foundations for future initiatives. The presence of many distinguished guests demonstrated the importance that Poland attaches to international cooperation.

Andrzej Duda, the President of Poland, emphasized the importance of security as a key challenge in times of ongoing conflicts. Already at the beginning of his presidency in 2015, he initiated intensive activities to strengthen Polish security, which became a priority during both of his terms.

Duda noted that Poland has undergone dynamic economic development over the past ten years, transforming from a country in need of support into a strong partner that now offers assistance to others in the region.

Solidarity in Crisis Times

President Duda indicated that thanks to appropriate actions, Poland was able to provide assistance to its partners in moments of crisis. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the country shared vaccines, and after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, it immediately provided humanitarian and military support.

During the New Year's meeting, which took place in a prestigious atmosphere, the guests appeared in unique costumes. Men proudly appeared in tuxedos, and ladies dazzled in elegant dresses. However, it was Agata Duda, the president's wife, who outshone everyone with her extraordinary elegance.
