New camera features of the Galaxy S25 smartphone revealed: what awaits users

With the launch of the Galaxy S25 series approaching, more and more information about the new features of Samsung's upcoming smartphones is emerging. The latest leaks reveal improvements in the cameras, including improved image quality and better macro shooting functions.

What is known about the new product

Expert Ahmed Kwaider claims that the Galaxy S25 series will offer a significant improvement in camera quality. In particular, the Galaxy S25 Ultra should provide shooting with higher resolution, which will help reduce noise. Perhaps this includes using the entire camera sensor for video recording, rather than just the central part.

It is also claimed that the Galaxy S25 Ultra's ultra-wide camera will be four times better than the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Audio Eraser feature is likely to remove unwanted noise from videos. The insider also reports that the Galaxy S25 will use artificial intelligence to improve the colors and brightness of images by 43%.

The models in this line will also be able to shoot magazine-format videos, which will allow professionals to better control colors and dynamic range. The leaks claim that switching between different camera lenses will be smoother on the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, thanks to the new Snapdragon 8 Elite ISP, which will allow for much faster input signal processing and increased frame rates.

As for the camera specs, rumors indicate that the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ will feature a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS, and a 12MP selfie camera.

Despite retaining the same hardware as the previous models, the new phones are likely to deliver improved image quality thanks to new software and interface.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus, a 10MP telephoto lens with OIS, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Up front, the 12MP selfie camera will remain the same as on previous models.
