Netflix: the streaming giant unveils this paid option that will attract subscribers

Let's not beat around the bush when Netflix announced that account sharing was over, subscribers to the streaming giant were quick to show their discontent. But paradoxically, the subscription with advertising was attractive because the Redmond firm saw its number of subscribers skyrocket. But Netflix doesn't want to stop there and has just announced a new, not very expensive offer without advertising that will definitely attract new customers.

the end of account sharing has not undermined Netflix

Indeed, when the American streaming giant announced that it would no longer allow its subscribers to share their Netflix accounts with other people outside the home, customers were up in arms. While it was possible to imagine that subscribers would desert the service, this is not the case.

The launch of a paid offer with advertising seems to have appealed to Netflix customers because the company has recorded incredible statistics in terms of the number of subscribers. However, for those who subscribed to this so-called Netflix Standard offer with advertising billed at 5.99 euros per month, it was impossible to add an option to allow users located outside the home to benefit from the account. But that will soon be ancient history.

200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000

Enjoying Netflix without ads for less than 6 euros per month is possible

And for good reason: Netflix announced this week that a new offer will be gradually deployed for offer customers with a Standard offer with ads to add a paid option that will allow them to add a user who is not under the same roof as the main subscriber and thus access the Netflix account. The price for this new option is set at 4.99 euros per month. But it is important to note that the added user will still have ads to watch.

On the other hand, what is really interesting is that the additional user can, if they wish, obtain a profile without any advertising if they pay 5.99 euros per month. A solution that should appeal because even if this user will only have one access to Netflix he will be able to enjoy the entire catalog of the streaming platform without ads for one euro more while the main subscriber will have to continue to put up with advertising when he watches his programs.

Like reminds him BFM Tech&Co site, this new paid option offered by Netflix is really worth it because currently, a Standard subscription without ads (with almost an unlimited number of profiles) costs 13 ,49 euros per month. Here, for less than 6 euros per month, it's the opportunity to enjoy Netflix without advertising! It's a safe bet that with this option Netflix is likely to see its nearly 270 million subscribers increase further.
