Ukrainian drone strikes damaged Russia's oil refining infrastructure, disabling 10-15% of its capacity. This was stated by an official of the Alliance on the basis of anonymity following the results of the Ukraine-NATO Council meeting, according to Reuters.
“The strikes probably disabled more than 10% of Russian oil refining capacities, and possibly more than 15%. And , depending on the extent of the damage, repairs can take a significant amount of time and require significant costs,” – he said.
According to the official, there are fewer and fewer such objects of Russian energy and critical infrastructure that are protected from potential strikes.
He also emphasized that some strikes of Ukrainian drones were carried out at a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers. This, according to him, “underlines the scale of the attacks”.
