National Guard soldiers can change their place of service through the “Army+” application: instructions on how to do it

In the “Army+” application, National Guard soldiers have been able to transfer between NGU units for a week. The main thing is to meet the conditions of the algorithm for changing their place of service.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Ministry of Defense.

As noted in the department, first it is necessary to figure out where and where the soldier wants to transfer from. To put it simply, there are almost no restrictions on transfers from units that are not engaged in combat operations to units that are involved in combat work.

Also, without the commander's approval, a transfer is possible if the serviceman:

  • has a VLK conclusion;
  • is currently on duty;
  • is a private or sergeant and wants to be transferred to a unit that is engaged in combat work.

“Army+” in Ukraine

In Ukraine, the “Army+” application was developed by servicemen of the Center for Scaling Technological Solutions under the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. It was launched in early August 2024.

It is worth noting that only active military personnel have access to the application. At the end of October, a new service was launched in it – online courses for the military. It was also reported that five new electronic reports (covering different stages of service) were added to “Army+”.

And in November, the application added a function that allows servicemen to quickly and conveniently submit a report for transfer to another unit.
