During the show “Britain's Got Talent”, one of the participants in a Batman costume gave a short speech after the performance as a sign of support for Ukraine in the war.

The tabloid Daily Express reported on the unexpected event.

The participant under the pseudonym The Dark Hero sang the ballad “Defying Gravity” from the musical “Wicked”, for which he received high praise from the judges of the talent show. At the end, the man expressed his support for Ukraine. With such an act, he quite puzzled the presenters, who were rather angry not with his political position, but with a few seconds of air time, which the man took.

No one knew the identity of “Batman”. The participant preferred to remain anonymous, because at the beginning of his speech, the man avoided introducing himself at the end.

And one more thing, my heart is with the people of Ukraine tonight, – announced “Batman” before , how to leave the stage.

His position was supported by the jury and the audience in the hall with applause. What's more, even presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly applauded before returning to their usual spot to introduce the contestants.
