Musk and German far-right leader talk about “leftism” at X

During a conversation on the X platform (Twitter), the owner of the social network, American billionaire Elon Musk, and the leader of the far-right Alternative for Germany, Alice Weidel, criticized “leftism” in German education and bureaucracy.

This is reported by “European Truth” with reference to Politico.

At the beginning of the audio stream, Musk – who mistakenly pronounced his interlocutor's last name as “Weidl” – called her “the leading candidate, in his opinion, for the position of leader of Germany”.

During the conversation, Musk and Weidel talked about various topics – from solar energy to German red tape in business.

A separate AfD leader asked the American billionaire if he understood the burdensome rules of doing business in Germany, to which Musk told how he was forced to submit a 25,000-page application.

The interlocutors also talked about the “leftist” education system in Germany, writes Politico.

“There is a crazy, crazy, socialist, leftist agenda in our education system. Young people are not taught anything in school, in university. They just study gender studies,” – Weidel said.

To which Musk replied: “It seems that the virus of leftism has infected Germany very badly.”

Alice Weidel is the co-chair of the Alternative for Germany and its candidate for chancellor in the early elections to the Bundestag on February 23.
