The NDP provincial deputy of Ottawa Centre, Joel Harden, is seeking the post of federal MP for the New Democratic Party (NDP) in his riding.

The latter currently occupies the role of opposition spokesperson on public transportation and active transportation. He is also a member of the Standing Committee on Heritage, Infrastructure and Culture at Queen's Park.
