As the “Goniec” portal reminds us, this year three stations decided to organize New Year's Eve parties. Polsat and TVP were joined by TV Republika, which organized a concert in Chełm. According to information reaching the media, there were moments of horror during the event. One of the participants of the New Year's Eve party began to choke. The intervention of the services was necessary.
Telewizja Republika decided to organize a New Year's Eve concert for the first time. The event took place at Łuczkowski Square in Chełm in the Lublin region. The stage featured, among others, Boney M. Captain Jack, Bad Boys Blue, Bayer Full, or the band Kombi.
The security was very thorough in checking people who wanted to take part in the fun. In an interview with “Fakt”, many people complained that they couldn't bring in some things. Most often, bottles of alcohol, large packages of juice, and even glasses were confiscated. Not everyone liked such precautions.
The daily notes that although the entire event was relatively peaceful, at one point there were several disturbing incidents. Two people were injured during the fun. With head injuries, they were taken to hospital emergency departments, where doctors treated them.
At one point, an exceptionally dramatic situation occurred. A woman began to choke. According to the information that “Fakt” journalists received from the paramedics, the woman's shortness of breath was most likely caused by health problems she was struggling with.
The intervention of medical services was necessary. Fortunately, everything ended well.
