Missiles, anti-Shaheeds and lasers: Ukrainian developers showed their advanced technologies (VIDEO)

Missiles, anti-“shaheeds”, lasers, surface and underwater drones, guided aerial bombs, as well as military countermeasures. Developers in the defense industry do not stop working and create new weapons. At the exhibition of high-tech Ukrainian weapons, manufacturers shared their achievements, FREEDOM reports.

Each of the technological innovations that can be seen in the exhibition hall is intended for Ukrainian defenders. Some of them are already being used by Ukrainian soldiers, while others will soon enter service with the army.

Bogdan — a representative of a UAV manufacturing company. He shows his team's development — the reconnaissance drone “Buntar”.

This aircraft has already been on combat missions many times, confirmed its tactical and technical characteristics, the demand from the military for it is huge. Therefore, we are now collecting orders and launching full-scale production to supply them in the required quantity“, — noted Bogdan.

And Viktor's company has already provided the fighters with several hundred of its aerial reconnaissance drones.

This is the reconnaissance drone “Gor”. It is designed for reconnaissance up to 40 or up to 120 km deep into the front line. “Gor” helps our scouts adjust artillery, aviation, find targets, and so on“, — he said.

The specialist noted that in the conditions of the technology race, one must always be ready to respond to the challenges of time.

Every month, each copy of our “plane” comes out with some improvements. We don't stand still, we are constantly developing, we are constantly adding something new to make the enemy's life not so sweet“, — said Victor.

The next event of the Brave1 defense technology cluster brought together developers, officials, and representatives of the Security and Defense Forces. The goal — share your ideas in terms of innovation, present new inventions.

Our task, on the one hand, is to prove the needs to manufacturers, to give them the opportunity to communicate with users, to test their products, to show their products in operation. As a result of such events, either new decisions are made, or integration between manufacturers occurs, and then new joint solutions are created that are effective and innovative. Our task is also to demonstrate already working solutions“, — explained the head of the Brave1 defense technology cluster, Natalia Kushnirska.

Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for IT Development Oleksandr Bornyakov emphasized that the ministry is open to cooperation.

We are open. We do not always understand the problems you face. And when you produce something and move through the circulation within the state, and there is something that limits you, — tell us, we want to hear it“, — the Deputy Minister addressed the developers and manufacturers.

Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Ukrainian engineers have made a big step forward. Moreover, in the development of both aerial drones and ground robotic complexes.

Developers note that there is actually a transition to robotic warfare. And, for example, now fighters on the front line have a choice – to place a mine barrier with a ground robot or to drop it with an aerial drone.

Ukrainian defenders also use drones to deliver ammunition, evacuate the wounded, conduct air defense, and conduct remote attacks.

Today, much depends on the initiative of the departments themselves, who are looking for solutions, interacting with manufacturers themselves, and turning to us in order to implement new solutions. We are working on a simple, transparent mechanism so that innovations can still be implemented faster and become a familiar tool for our defenders“, — commented Deputy Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Anna Gvozdiar.

There is both a request and a proposal for innovations in the defense industry, officials assure.

Our task is to quickly implement technological solutions to stay ahead of the enemy. Ukraine today is not only a battlefield, but also a place where unique defense developments are born that change the rules of war. To help ideas turn into finished developments faster, we launched the Brave1 defense tech cluster. Every day, new challenges arise in the technological war. The main challenge today is solutions for reconnaissance and destruction that will allow effective action at strategic depth“, — emphasized the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.

In a year and a half of work, Brave1 has registered more than 3 thousand developments from almost one and a half thousand companies. Over 800 million hryvnias in grant support has also been provided to manufacturers, and next year Brave1 plans to double this amount.
