Minecraft: Aquaman star accused of bad behavior on the film's crew

A few days ago, Warner Bros. Pictures unveiled the first trailer for the film adaptation of the video game Minecraft. While the trailer didn't exactly convince Internet users, we now learn that Jason Momoa, who will be in the game, is accused of having behaved badly towards members of the crew during filming.

Minecraft finally in theaters, fans not convinced

Finally, the film will finally see the light of day under the leadership of Warner Bros Pictures. On September 4, the studio released the first trailer for this film in which the public will find Jack Black, Kate McKinnon (Barbie), Jennifer Coolidge (The White Lotus) and of course Jason Momoa, the interpreter of Aquaman.

In this adaptation, Jack Black plays the main role, that of Steve, the hero of the game developed for by Mojang Studio. Jason Momoa's behavior shocked this YouTuber

If upon discovering the trailer, the film was much talked about negatively, particularly because of its aesthetics, Minecraft: The Movie is still being noticed in a negative way if we are to believe the revelations of Valkyrae, the American YouTuber.

Indeed, she revealed that she would make an appearance in the film Minecraft. Responding to questions from streamer JasonTheWeen, the young woman said that her worst experience with a celebrity was the one during the filming of the film with Jason Momoa. The YouTuber explains that she was surprised to see the actor behave this way towards the members of the technical team:

I saw him mistreat some of the crew and it was quite disappointing. It was after a very intense scene, and it was a very emotional scene, which maybe he was still in character. I don't know. But I was just a little surprised by the way he treated some of the crew.

And to add:

He was just angry, really angry and he was yelling. So, I thought to myself: 'Dude, this is not a good work environment. I would not be happy working in these conditions. So, yeah, I would probably have to say that was the worst thing I've ever seen on a celebrity.

It remains to be seen whether these accusations are true. We recall that during the filming of Aquaman 2, Momoa had been accused of having done this dirty trick to Amber Heard. In the meantime, Minecraft: The Movie is expected in theaters on April 2, 2025.
