Marvel: Here's How Peter Parker and Venom Should Reunite in Spider-Man 4

According to recent rumors, Spider-Man 4 could finally feature the famous Venom in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The latest trailer for Venom: The Last Dance suggests that the two characters should finally cross paths.

Venom 3: no longer the right to the error

Expected on October 30, Venom: The Last Dance should be the last part of the Venom saga. Directed by Kelly Marcel (who succeeds Ruben Fleischer and Andy Serkis), this third part should have more impact than the two previous films. If the first part of the trilogy had been a real hit with more than 856 million dollars in box office revenue, the second part had been a critical and popular disappointment with only $500 million in box office revenue.

This third film therefore has no room for error if Venom does not want to return to rot in the drawers of Sony Pictures. A third chapter that obviously brings back Tom Hardyin the skin of the protagonist. This time, Venom will be confronted with his worst enemy: Knull, the God of the symbiotes. The latter decides to visit Venom on Earth to demand a debt.

A direct connection with spider-man 4?

According to The Cosmic Circus, Venom: The Last Dance will have consequences on Spider-Man 4. According to the American media, this third Venom should logically be a springboard to integrate the famous symbiote into the MCU. According to scooper Alex Perez, Venom 3 will not mark Knull's only appearance. It seems that Sony has plans for several films for this iconic antagonist.

Still according to The Cosmic Circus, Knull should therefore return in Spider-Man 4.Sony would like for the next installment of the saga dedicated to the web-slinger, Peter Parker and Eddie Brock to team up against Knull.

At the end of Venom: The Last Dancewe may see Eddie Brock switch universes and move to the MCU. The recent reshoots of the film are said to be dedicated to this connection. It seems that the potential villain of Spider-Man 4 is Knull. The latter would seek to envelop the entire multiverse in his darkness.

After all, Sony has already prepared this change of Venom universe at the end of Venom: Let There Be Carnage. The Andy Serkis film has already shown that universe switching is possible between Sony films and Marvel Studios films. We even learn that Venom left a small piece of his symbiote in the MCU. Rumor has it that Knull is therefore looking for the Venom of the MCU, the one from Earth-616, and not the one played by Tom Hardy. Spider-Man 4could therefore be a way to connect the MCU and the Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU), to offer a buddy movie between Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and Venom (Tom Hardy) and to present the Venom of the MCU.

An approach that should therefore put Marvel Studios' plans to the test. With Spider-Man 4, Marvel originally wanted to offer a more urban, more Cartesian adventure, which would feature less spectacular heroes like Daredevil, Ant-Man and The Kingpin. Spider-Man 4 was even supposed to be part of the continuity of the Daredevil: Born Again series. But since Sony is getting involved in Spider-Man's business, it's possible that Spider-Man 4 will take a completely different path and address a multiversal connection with the SSU.

It's up to you to tell us in the comments which of these two pitches seems the most interesting to exploit.
