The Lenovo company intends to release a sliding Android tablet next year.
The tablet will be equipped with a 13-inch Samsung display that can be expanded up to 17 inches. The Korean company first demonstrated this technology in 2022.
One of Samsung's retractable screens may become a product thanks to its collaboration with Lenovo. According to Patently Apple, the new product will combine the functions of a tablet and a laptop. In its normal state, the device will have a 13-inch display and work as a tablet. However, the screen can be extended up to 17 inches to use the device in laptop mode.
Notably, Ross Young, a well-known whistleblower with more than 25 years of experience in the display industry, claims that the screen of the device will be 18.1 inches It is not clear if it will be available in two different sizes or if some information is inaccurate. Maybe Lenovo hasn't finalized all the specs yet. In any case, the device is still under development and will not be released anytime soon.
