Law enforcement officers have completed the investigation into a woman who justified Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine

Employees of the Konotop Interdistrict Department of the Security Service of Ukraine received information about the pro-Russian position of a 47-year-old resident of the village of Popivka. Police investigators opened a criminal case into this fact and began collecting evidence.

Law enforcement officers established that the woman, contrary to current legislation, continued to use Russian Internet resources. In addition, the perpetrator distributed content in support of the actions of the Russian military on social networks, thereby justifying the war and occupation of part of the territory of Ukraine.

The conclusions of the forensic linguistic and computer-technical examination confirmed the guilt of the defendant.

Currently, investigators under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office have sent an indictment to the court against the suspect under Part 2 of Article 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of this article provides for a penalty of up to 5 years of imprisonment.
