The prosecutor's office received a notification of a possible crime, in connection with which the chairman of Law and Justice, Jarosław Kaczyński, is to be interrogated. This information was provided by prosecutor Skiba. Kaczyński appeared at the prosecutor's office before 10 a.m., but refused to talk to journalists, claiming he had nothing to say about the case.

The case concerns a letter found in the possession of the former deputy head of the Ministry of Justice, Marcin Romanowski. In the document, Jarosław Kaczyński asked the minister to prohibit Solidarna Polska candidates from using the Justice Fund during the election campaign. Romanowski's apartment was searched in March this year. at the request of the National Prosecutor's Office.

“I appeal to the Minister to immediately prohibit Solidarna Polska candidates from using the Justice Fund during the election campaign and at the same time prohibit the person responsible for managing the Fund's resources from transferring any amounts during the campaign or from making commitments regarding the transfer of such amounts in the future.” “I would like to draw the attention of the Minister to the fact that the cases that are already being discussed in our coalition circles, if they are true, may have disastrous consequences both from the point of view of the course of the campaign and from the point of view of its settlement before the State Electoral Commission. I am also forced to state that in the event of failure to comply with the recommendation formulated in the letter, full political responsibility, and most likely also in other dimensions, will rest on you” – Jarosław Kaczyński appealed in the letter.
