Next year, Poles will go to the polls to choose the successor to President Andrzej Duda. Last Sunday, PiS announced that in next year's presidential elections they will support the candidacy of Karol Nawrocki, the current president of the Institute of National Remembrance.
Nawrocki will face Sławomir Mentzen, Marek Jakubiak, Szymon Hołownia, and Rafał Trzaskowski. Since the announcement of Nawrocki's candidacy, interest in both the professional activity of the head of the IPN and his private life has increased.
Karol Nawrocki is privately married to 38-year-old Marta Nawrocka. The wife of the IPN president is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Gdańsk. She was only 21 when she started working in the Customs Service. As indicated by the “Goniec” portal, she has been associated with this service for 17 years.

The Nawrocki family has three children. The oldest of their sons is already an adult and fulfills himself as a journalist in “Gazeta Morska”. He is studying at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Gdańsk. Daniel Nawrocki does not shy away from politics either. He ran in the local elections, although he failed to win a seat.
