Motorola is preparing to launch its new Razr 50 series in China on June 25. In a recent teaser on X (formerly Twitter), the brand also confirmed that the global debut of these flip phones will also take place on June 25. Here's what buyers can expect from the Razr 50 series.
The Razr 50 Ultra will feature a 4-inch wide display on the lid and a 6.9-inch internal display, both of which use OLED technology. This update replaces the previous LTPO AMOLED displays used in previous models. The main display has a resolution of 1272×1080 pixels.
The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and will be available in 8GB to 18GB RAM and 128GB to 1TB storage options. It will also have a 3,800mAh battery.
As for the cameras, the Razr 50 Ultra will have two 50-megapixel rear sensors and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.
On the other hand, the standard Motorola The Razr 50 will also have a 6.9-inch internal display and a smaller 3.6-inch external display, both using OLED technology. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset.
This model will have 50MP and 13MP rear cameras and a 32MP front camera. The 4,200mAh battery with 33W fast charging support is designed for long-term use and fast charging.
