Vivo company presented Y28 4G smartphone – the new product follows the Vivo Y28 5G model announced in January this year. As GSMArena.com reports, the Y28s 5G model should also be expected to appear on the market soon. The novelty received a design in the style of the latest iPhones, but is offered at the bottom of the middle price segment.
The Y28 4G smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 processor with two ARM Cortex-A75 cores with a clock frequency of 2.0 GHz and six Cortex cores -A55 with a frequency of 1.8 GHz. The amount of RAM is 8 GB, the capacity of the flash drive – 256 GB. The storage volume can be increased using a microSD memory card.
The smartphone's 6.68-inch LCD screen has a resolution of 1608 × 720 pixels, 90 Hz refresh rate and 1000 cd/m2 peak brightness. An 8-MP selfie camera is placed in the round cut-out at the top of the screen. On the back panel is the main camera with a 50-megapixel sensor, supplemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The battery with a capacity of 6000 mAh supports fast charging with a power of 44 W.
The smartphone is protected against moisture and dust according to the IP64 standard. The device's specifications also include two stereo speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and two SIM card slots. The weight of the smartphone is 199 g, the thickness of the case – 8.1 mm. The Vivo Y28 4G will be available in Singapore with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage for S$269 (about $199).
