Friendly wind technology company” announced the readiness for operation of the production line for the manufacture of wind energy installations.
«Our new production line for the manufacture of wind energy installations is ready for operation! We are increasing our capacity to meet the growing demand for clean energy», the company announced.
According to the information of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Association (UVEA), the company plans to produce in the year to ; 20 wind turbines with unit capacity from 4.8 to 5.5 MW.
“Friendly wind technology” — it is the only national manufacturer of multi-megawatt class wind power plants today.
The company started its activities in Transcarpathia after the forced relocation of the capacities of the group of companies “Wind Parks of Ukraine”. from Kramatorsk after the start of a full-scale war in 2022.
In 2023, the company started the construction of the first wind power plant in the territory of Zakarpattia region with a total capacity of about 80 MW. In total, the company's current package of projects envisages the construction of at least 500 MW of capacity. According to UVEA data, during the two years of the full-scale war, Ukraine's wind power capacity increased by 228 MW. Currently, the capacity of Ukrainian wind generation — 1900 MW. According to plans of the Ministry of Energy, by 2032 it is expected to bring the total installed wind energy capacity up to 10 GW.
