Incredibly delicious goulash: read the recipe from Olga Ryabenko

Goulash/Gipfel

Gulash is a hot meat dish of Hungarian origin. It is usually prepared from veal or beef.

Chef Olga Ryabenko explained the details of the preparation of this popular dish. She posted a cooking video on Instagram.

This is a real classic of Hungarian cuisine, captivating with its rich taste and aroma.

Ingredients:

  • Beef – 1 kg;
  • Carrot – 1 pc;< /li>
  • Onion – 2 pcs;
  • Garlic – 2 cloves;
  • Oil – 2-3 tablespoons;
  • Butter – 40 g ;
  • Salt, pepper – to taste;
  • Paprika – 1 tbsp;
  • Flour – 1.5 tbsp;
  • < li>Tomato paste – 3 tablespoons;

  • Water – 800 ml;
  • Sugar – 1 tsp;
  • Bay leaf – 1 pc;< /li>
  • Sweet pepper – 2 pcs (small)
  • Cream 15-20% – 4 tbsp;
  • Greens.

Method of preparation:

1. Cut the meat into medium pieces.

2. Cut the carrot and onion into half rings, chop the garlic.

3. Add oil and butter to a heated pan and lay out the meat. Add salt, pepper, paprika and fry.

4. Add onions, garlic and carrots. Also fry.

5. Add flour, tomato paste diluted in water, sugar, bay leaf. Cover with a lid and cook for 1 hour on medium heat.

6. Cut the sweet pepper into strips and add to the meat and cook for another 20-30 minutes.

7. At the end, pour in the cream and after 1 minute, remove from the heat. Add chopped greens.
