In Ukraine, the administrator of the Viber group was exposed for disrupting mobilization

In the Rivne region, SBU officers exposed a 30-year-old woman who administered a Viber group that facilitated evasion of mobilization.

This was reported by the Rivne Regional State Administration.

As investigators established, the attacker turned out to be a resident of the former Bereznivka tergroma.

The woman created and led a group in which she distributed information about the places where summonses were delivered conscripts in the region, thus providing assistance to those who sought to avoid military service.

The group gained popularity among men who were trying to evade mobilization and quickly gained a large audience.

To avoid responsibility for her illegal activities, the administrator hid her contact details in the group settings. However, thanks to the coordinated actions of the SBU cyber specialists, her identity was established, and the illegal activities — document.

During the authorized searches, law enforcement officers seized the perpetrator's mobile phone, which contained evidence of her illegal activities.

Under the procedural guidance of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor's Office, an indictment against the woman was sent to the court under Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations during a special period).

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. For this crime, the woman faces up to eight years in prison.

The complex measures were carried out by employees of the SBU Department in the Rivne region under the procedural guidance of the Rivne Regional Prosecutor's Office.
