In the Turkish city of Izmir, five people died as a result of a gas explosion in a restaurant, and another 63 people were injured. The AP informs about this.
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Erlikaya notes that the explosion was likely caused by a propane tank.
Security cameras recorded the explosion and ru new year's succession
The Governor of Izmir, Suleiman Elban, having seen the wounded at the hospital, reported that 40 of them, with lung injuries, have already been discharged home.
It is also noted that one suspect has been detained, who may be vibuhu: The man first replaced the propane tank with a new one.
