Singer Lida Lee presented a new music video for her track “Winter in the Desert”, in which she overcame her phobia and demonstrated her inner rebellion.

Lida Lee presented a new musical story – a song called “Winter in the desert” and a music video for it. Watch the video on YouTube.

In the center of the video “Winter in the desert” is a snake, which has become a symbol of the performer's courage. Lida Lee, with a phobia of reptiles, accepted the challenge to overcome her fears. Therefore, the snake in the clip acts as a powerful metaphor for transformation.

Each of us can find the strength to change. When you are in a whirlwind of cyclical events, but you take a step forward – this is a real transformation. Changes are accompanied by feelings of uncertainty, because you are not in control of the situation. The snake on the body shows how you can accept yourself despite your fears, insecurities and incompetence. And having overcome them, you realize that you are capable of anything, the singer shares.

Lida Lee was able not only to master her fear, but also to turn it into art, inspiring others to accept their weaknesses.

The clip was directed by Svitlana Simakova, who, having experience in fashion and advertising , first tried herself in creating music videos. She says she wanted to make the story special and grab the audience's attention.

I was interested in how to combine the elements of fashion, sexuality and fear to create something both beautiful and sensual. I hope that the audience will want to watch the clip again and study every element of it, – the director notes.

The filming of the clip took place in compliance with humane conditions for animals, and experienced specialists worked with the python, which became the main character of the video.
