In the Netherlands, a prisoner in a prison in the city of Herhugoward took hostages of two of their cellmates.
As reported by the NOS portal, information about the incident was confirmed by the Department of Judicial Services. It is known that the hostages were in the common room.
According to the speaker of the penitentiary service, there was not a single episode of the use of force.
Law enforcement officers at the scene tried to take control of the situation and, in in the end, they succeeded – the hostages were released.
The entire incident lasted several hours. As a result, no one was injured.
