The Security Service of Ukraine reported suspicion to an 18-year-old resident of the Kosiv district who administered a Telegram group for draft evaders. This community published information about the places where summonses were served in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
According to the investigation, the young man created the group in September 2023, but in order to hide from law enforcement officers, he later made it private and hid information about the participants, including himself, writes Misto.
SBU employees documented how up-to-date data on the activities of the CCC and the SP were transferred to the group. This significantly complicated the mobilization during martial law.
During operational measures, the administrator was identified, and the group itself was blocked. He was suspected under Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – Obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations.
Such actions are punishable by imprisonment for a term of 5 to 8 years.
The investigation is being conducted by the SBU in Ivano-Frankivsk region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
