The Polish Ministry of Defense announced the dismissal of Lieutenant General Jaroslaw Gromadzinsky, who, together with the American military, was responsible for training Ukrainian military personnel. This was reported by RMF24 .

Lieutenant General Gromadzinski was decided to be recalled from the post of commander of the European Corps (Eurocorps), a base in Strasbourg for a group of rapid reaction forces.

The message of the Polish defense department notes , that the basis for the recall of the general was the beginning of a military counterintelligence check in connection with the receipt of new information about the officer.

Although the country's Ministry of Defense does not provide details, it is said that we are talking about an “investigation into access to state secrets” Polish Lieutenant General.

"Another officer will be immediately appointed to the position held by Lieutenant General Jarosław Gromadzinski,", said Janusz Seimei, spokesman for the Polish Ministry of Defense. p>

Gromadzinsky headed the Eurocorps in June 2023. In recent months, the general also served with the International Support Group for Ukraine in Wiesbaden, Germany, and, together with American officers, was responsible for training the Ukrainian military.
