In his recent podcast, the famous Hollywood actor and former governor of California, 76-year-old Arnold Schwarzenegger, shared news about his health with his fans.

He said that last Monday he successfully underwent an operation to install a pacemaker, a device that is implanted to restore and normalize the rhythm of the heart.

In his style, the actor did not miss a chance to joke, calling himself now “a little more like a machine” – this is definitely a reference to his iconic role as the Terminator.

No one would ever guess that I started the week with surgery. First of all, I want you to know that I'm doing great!
– said Arnold, adding that he had already attended a major environmental event on Friday.

He also did not forget to thank the Cleveland Clinic team and the doctors and nurses for their professional assistance during operations.

Schwarzenegger noted that he was recommended to install a pacemaker due to scars from previous operations which made heart rhythm difficult.

This is not the first time that Arnold Schwarzenegger undergoes heart surgery. He first had his aortic and pulmonary valves replaced back in 1997 and later, in 2018, he returned to the doctor for replacements. Now, after surgery with a pacemaker, the actor plans to continue his active activities and healthy lifestyle.

Even at the age of 76, Schwarzenegger does not stop, continuing to be an example of an outstanding personality and a fighter for health' i.
