Hunter x Hunter: Excellent news for the continuation of the manga

After two years of hiatus, Hunter x Hunter will officially resume on October 7th. Cette bonne nouvelle en cache une autre, qui va sans doute rassurer les fans pour l'avenir du manga.

The return of Hunter x Hunter after two years of absence

Fans of Hunter x Hunterhave been hungry for almost two years. In late 2022, creator Yoshihiro Togashi announced that new chapters would no longer be released regularly, due to problems related to his health. We were then at chapter 400.

“Thank you for reading HUNTER x HUNTER. Regarding the publication of the manga, chapter 401 and beyond, we have spoken with Togashi-sensei about his health, and as a result, we have decided to publish HUNTER x HUNTER in a format other than weekly serialization. Togashi-sensei will continue to write the following chapters, and the editorial department will continue to support him until the manga is completed. Specific publication dates and methods will be announced in future issues of Weekly Shonen Jump. Thank you for your continued support for: HUNTER x HUNTER»,announced the Weekly Shonen Jump.

two pieces of good news for the continuation of the manga

Since then, the mangaka is doing much better and has resumed writing his work. Thus, with a few chapters in advance, Weekly Shonen Jump has announced the resumption of the manga on October 7. After finishing the finishing touches on chapter 410 this summer, Togashi declared via a Twitter post that he has started inking chapter 420. Enough to allow the publisher to resume its previous publication schedule, and to have cartridges in reserve for several months.

Chapter 401 will be available in English on MANGA Plus. Then the scans in French will come quickly. Regarding volume 38, including chapters 391 to 400 and published in Japan this September, we will have to wait before seeing it arrive in France. Kana editions, which are responsible for publication in France, must come forward.
