Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are back for this great announcement

Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman always have a laugh. Colleagues, friends, these merry fellows regularly collaborate together, both in front of and behind the camera. And with Deadpool & Wolverine, Reynolds and Jackman have made many fans' dreams come true. A film announced on a couch, by a sketch that has left its mark on memories. Only, the ad is back, with a twist nonetheless.

Making something new out of something old, a strategy that Disney has particularly appreciated for a decade. Its animated classics are adapted into live-action, a strategy that has more or less paid off. More commercial than critical successes, which many fans still enjoy rediscovering. And even if Ryan Reynolds likes to play the originality card whenever he has the opportunity, the announcement scene for Deadpool & Wolverinewas able to be used again for another announcement, which will probably generate a little less excitement.

On his social networks, the Australian actor shared a video shot in the same way as the announcement of Wolverine's return in Deadpool 3. Same house, same couch, only this time it's Jackman who is alone on the couch, addressing his audience. It must be said that the video is published on his social networks. Although Reynolds does not appear in front of the camera, he is seen going up the stairs in the background. He begins by explaining that his return as Wolverine was the best moment of his life, before questioning his future.

Hey, Ryan? “Wanna come to one of my shows at Radio City Music Hall?” Jackman suggests to Reynolds. But the Deadpool actor expects to be part of the show. Jackman plays it off as if it were, shaking his head “no” to the camera before announcing the reasons of this video, the announcement of “From New York With Love“. This is followed by a scene where Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are sitting together on the couch ; to talk about the show, before a Christmas version of Beethoven's 9th Symphony rang out and drowned out their talk. Reynolds concluded by announcing that he was disappointed not to be part of the show.
