The new phone Honor with model number FCP-AN10 has been approved by the 3C authority in China. The official marketing name of the device is still unknown. However, there is speculation that this could be the upcoming foldable phone Magic V3.
Previous reports claimed that the Chinese market will receive the Honor 200 series of smartphones in May, the Magic V Flip in June and Magic V3 in July. The Honor 200 series and Magic V Flip debuted as predicted, and now the Magic V3 is expected next month.
Estimated certification of Honor Magic V3 3C in China
Honor's FCP-AN10 phone, believed to be the upcoming Magic V3, has been spotted with a 66W fast charger on the 3C database. The listing also reveals that the device will support satellite connectivity. Unfortunately, there is no other information about the device in the certification.
The Magic V3 will ship alongside the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro and the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 in the Chinese market. The Magic V3 is expected to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, just like competing devices. Other V3 specs are rumored.
Critics and users alike praised the Magic V2, which debuted in July, for its amazing design. The device weighs only 231 grams and is only 4.7 mm thick when unfolded. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-based foldable phone has a 7.92-inch screen, 6 43-inch external display and a 5,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
It is likely that the Magic V3 could have a larger battery, than its predecessor, and at the same time keep a thin and light profile. Hopefully future reports will shed light on V3's key features.
