If Michael Gray is not strictly speaking a movie villain, we can't say that he's a softie either! And we don't know about you, but it seems to us that the actor shares with Christian Coulson, the Tom Riddle of the Harry Potter films, the same pretentious air. Sure, he's a little young to play the main antagonist of the HBO series, but that would allow to put some real distance between him and Ralph Fiennes (who was in his forties in The Philosopher's Stone).
