Grudnik delights flower growers with its abundant flowering in winter, when most flowering plants are dormant.
For active bud formation, the Christmas cactus requires careful care — timely transplanting, pruning and “moving” to a cool place.
The main factors for the flowering of the thuja are: short daylight hours; temperature 15-18 ° C; dormancy; balanced fertilization with phosphorus and potassium; However, if you did not have time to do all this before December, do not worry — there is a fertilizer that stimulates the flowering of the thuja, which grows even in poor soil at normal room temperature.
To achieve success, you will need inexpensive pharmacy tablets — succinic acid and B vitamins. Succinic acid can stimulate plant growth and flowering because it is involved in the Krebs cycle.
B vitamins are also beneficial to plants, but their effectiveness is almost invisible when watering at the root, due to their low absorption.
Dissolve 1 tablet of succinic acid in 200 ml of boiling water. When the solution cools down, add 1 tablet of B vitamins. To enhance the effect, you can also enrich the composition with 1 ml of purchased soil improver for houseplants.
Pour the resulting composition into 1 liter of clean water – the fertilizer is ready. Water the clodwort with it once every 2 weeks, and flowering will definitely come.
