Google will restrict apps that deplete your smartphone battery

< IMG SRC = "/Uploads/Blogs/6F/CA/IB-1IPC456A8_2A6BBB1CB.jpg" Alt = "Google will limit the applications that exhaust the smartphone battery"/> ~ ~ ~ < P > Google has announced a long -term plan aimed at ensuring that developers have more data and tools to control the resources of their applications. The main innovation will be the Excessive Wake Locks metric in the Android Vitals panel in Google Play Console, which will record cases where the aggregate duration of partial Wake Locks exceeds three hours within 24 hours.

~ ~ ~ < p > about it writes Android Police.

< H2 ID = "H2_0" > Appendices on Android will consume less battery charge

< P > now Android Vitals keeps track of how long the application holds Wake Lock in the background without active ForeGround service. However, it is the sudden, excessive Wake Lock that remain the main cause of the unexpected category of the battery. To find the source of the problem, Google is already collaborating with several smartphone manufacturers, including Samsung, combining their experience and telemetry.

< P > Developers can get acquainted with the new metric documentation and share reviews: only after collecting sufficient reviews will the indicator go from beta to the public. Google plans to add Android vitals and other metrics to highlight critical performance problems and help users choose energy -saving applications in Google Play.
