~ ~ ~ < p > French satellite Eutelsat Communications SA operator activates negotiations with the European Union on replacing Starlink satellite network in Ukraine after the United States has started to reduce its support.

~ ~ < P > March 6, CEO of Eutelsat, Eve Berneke, stated in an interview with Bloomberg TV that the company already has thousands of terminals in Ukraine, although not all of them are connected to the network.

~ ~ < P > Eutelsat is working on supplying both standard and military terminals, and expects that it will take several months to deliver 40,000 terminals & mdash; the quantity currently uses Starlink in Ukraine.

< P > Starlink has become a critical service for the Ukrainian military in a full -scale war with Russia, since most of the communication infrastructure has been destroyed. Although many Starlink terminals are financed by Europe, the deterioration of relations between Washington and Kiev is concerned about possible disruptions in the supply of services.

< P > Eutelsat plans to receive financial and logistics support for rapid increase in the number of terminals in Ukraine.

< P > The company also noted that their Oneweb network has more than 600 satellites in orbit at an altitude of 1200 km, which provides faster ligaments than lower Starlink orbits.
